Dress Code 2014-2015

Clarification on the Springboro Dress Code: There has been much discussion over the dress code for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year, with specific concerns regarding the length of shorts, skirts,  dresses, as well as the covering of yoga pants The main issue the dress code is trying  to address is that clothing appropriately covers the student and is not a distraction to the learning environment.   We understand that all students develop at different ages and at different times.  In order to accommodate varying body styles, the length of shorts, skirts, dresses and the covering  of yoga pants should be mid-thigh.  We appreciate your support in helping to make sure students are dressing appropriately for school so they are ready to learn each and every day.

Testing/Assessment: New High School Graduation Requirements

House Bill 487 updated Ohio’s graduation requirements to ensure that all students are ready for success in college and work. As a result, the Class of 2017 (10th-graders in the 2014-2015 school year) will be the last students to take the current Ohio Graduation Tests. For more information, visit:
